Crystal Mulik

Program Facilitator
Crystal is a graduate research student at the University of Alberta. She holds two BSc degrees, one in Neuroscience and one in Honours Psychology from the University of Lethbridge. Her previous research experience spans across the following fields: metabolomics, transgenerational stress, child behaviour, and MRI. She is a certified level II MRI operator and has experience in ethics applications, questionnaire design and facilitation, experiment design, and statistical analysis.
While channeling her lifelong passion for helping others into the pursuit of a career in healthcare, Crystal also focuses her energies towards addressing the scourge of racism in society, which she sees as a direct and indirect cause of many afflictions today.
She has 4+ years of experience working with non-profit organizations and a focus on anti-racism initiatives around Alberta bringing with her an equity lens to all strategy work and content development. Crystal often uses her research background to bring multiple perspectives into her facilitation sessions.
Crystal is involved in several community initiatives and is Sponsorship Manager of the Women in Science, Engineering & Research organization at the University of Alberta.
